ALTERNATOR MOTOR

  1. Alternator Not Charging - Battery Indicator Light may be blinking.
    • Alternator Belt loose or broken.
    • Alternator brush worn out
    • Internal Circuits grounded
    • Voltage Regulator worn out
  2. Battery Not Charging - Failing to crank the starter motor
    • Alternator Belt loose or broken
    • Loose or corroded battery terminals
    • Negative or ground cable not properly attached to the body
    • Positive cable to starter not properly attached
    • Battery expired
  3. Battery Overcharging - Voltage supply is more than the maximum output resistance.
    • Voltage regulator negative wires no properly attached.
    • Low water level on the battery.
    • Voltage regulator worn out.
  4. Alternator Noisy - Internal Noise or irritating grind
    • Alternator bearing
    • Internal wires grounded
    • Shafting and bushing worn out
    • Pulley worn out
